CONE BEAM SCAN
Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a special
type of x-ray equipment used when regular dental or facial
x-rays are not sufficient. Dr Al-Khalidi may use this technology
to produce three dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth, soft
tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan.

MICROSCOPE
Operating Microscopes illuminate and magnify the inside of teeth and
surgical sites allowing Endodontists to view the root canal system like
never before. The exact extent of cracks in teeth can be seen which
allows for an accurate recommendation to either keep a tooth with a root
canal or extract it. Tiny, mineralized canals which in years past could not
be located, are now easily negotiated. Without micorscopes, many teeth
needing endodontic therapy would require extraction.

Digital radiography is a form of X-ray imaging, where digital
X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film.
Advantages include time efficiency through bypassing chemical
processing and the ability to digitally transfer and enhance
images. Also, less radiation can be used to produce an image of
similar contrast to conventional radiography
